I’m going to call this beer “Easy Drinkin”, I think it might be my new favorite beer. I’d seen it at Erik’s Grocery Bag a couple times when I was on beer runs. I’m so glad I decided to grab one to try… totally disappointed that I didn’t grab more. I’m going to fix that tomorrow though.

So let’s talk about this beer before we get into the taste and all. High North Brewing Company collaborated with the Ohio Farm Bureau to celebrate its’ 100 year anniversary. They used all Ohio malt and hops to create it.

My choice to have with dinner tonight was totally random and I’m really glad I picked this beer. I’d made up some baked potatoes topped with chili and this beer ended up as the perfect pairing. So after I poured it, I liked the color, but it was the first taste that really blew my mind. It was super smooth and incredibly easy to drink.

The taste was like nothing I’d had before. It was light, refreshing and left no after taste but I couldn’t put my finger on a specific taste. It was so good, I had to have Christina give it a try… she totally agreed with what I was saying. I can’t remember the last time I really, truly enjoyed a craft beer so much.

I would have this beer again and again and again. I really love it. I would recommend this beer to anyone.

CHEERS!

P.S. In a previous post about DuClaw Brewing Sour Me Double Blueberry I’d mentioned that I was starting a woodworking project… well it’s almost done. This “free library” needs some trim and a door and it’s ready to be finished.
