Okay, so I love to cook. Baking on the other hand… not so much. I do like to bake a few things, but admittedly I’m not very good at it. But on this particular Sunday I decided to make and bake potato biscuits that my Mom makes. They’re delicious. My sister loves them. My daughters Megan and Ally love them… I love them.

I’ve made them I think a total of 4 times now with varying results. I’d made plans this time to make them over the weekend because it is a pretty time-consuming process and we didn’t really have much planned that day. So Sunday morning I started.

Peeling potatoes, boiling them, mashing them then letting them chill. During that time we ran some errands and then it was back to it and into the mixer the potatoes went. I thought well, while the potatoes were working, I should work on a new beer. I’d gotten the Waterloo Brewing Raspberry Radler for the #inthefridgefriday a couple days before, but didn’t get around to drinking it.

Oh Canada is this beer delicious. I mean seriously. The lightness along with the raspberry flavor is over the top. What a great beer to have on a hot summer day, or a Sunday making biscuits. Any time really. The ABV is only 2.5% but that doesn’t matter at all because it’s so damn good.

And can we talk about the can for a second. How fun is that? I’m a sucker for great design… I couldn’t love this one more. Nice job Waterloo Brewing! I frickin’ love it and did I mention it was delicious?

Seriously guys AND girls, pick one or more of these up and enjoy, eh? You’ll love it. I’d recommended to Jamie that he get a one of these for his wife Katie to try. She’s not a beer drinker, but she likes fruity kind of drinks and this absolutely fits the bill AND P.S. it’s a beer! Boom.

Even got a visit from Oliver the Cat while putting this review together. Our little man hasn’t been feeling well the last couple of days and needed some love, so who am I to argue?

CHEERS and Happy Thanksgiving!

Side note: the biscuits didn’t turn out so well. I ate a few of them and threw the rest away this morning. Try, try again. HA!
