I first discovered this beer when a friend and I stopped at the Masthead Brewing Co. on the way to a concert. I had it from the tap as part of a flight. It was so good. I was super excited to find it at the store so I had to have some. Although this isn’t the first time I’ve had this deliciousness, it is the first time I’m talking about it, well, to you all that is. I always try to have one in the fridge ready to grab.
It’s got a really great coffee flavor that’s not too overpowering and a great head when you pour it out of the can. Personally I love these 16oz. cans because you can fill your glass and have that “little bit extra.”
After finding this in cans, this beer has become my favorite all night beer. Although it’s dark and rich, it’s not heavy and for that I say “cheers” Masthead Brewing! Love this beer so much.
