It seems like we’re getting some serious bonus grilling days this year. The past few days have been fantastic and I took advantage.
We love grilled Brussels sprouts and we have them often. This time I grilled portobello mushrooms to go with. Tasty, delicious, healthy and low cal. Not that that is a factor for me. Oh and we also had a nice little bonus from our garden. I just happened to look over at it and saw there were some tomatoes still hanging around.
I thought that I would have the Left Hand Push Pop Party Nitro along with dinner but it just seemed like it would be a better dessert. So Diet Coke with dinner and beer for dessert. I see nothing wrong with that.
I knew from having other Left Hand Brewing Nitros that the pour was going to be amazing and it was. But I was expecting it to be more orange so the golden color was a surprise. Not that that was disappointing or anything.
It has super long lasting head and smelled fantastic… like a push pop!
But the taste? Oh. My. God was it good. I mean seriously good. I enjoyed the citrus flavor all the way to the end. It didn’t get to a point of being too heavy or too citrusy either. This is a great warm weather beer.
I would recommend this craft beer for sure. The only disappointing part of this whole thing, was that I only had one.
CHEERS!
